Remedy for Eczema Pimples

Eczema pimples may itch and be a major cosmetic concern, particularly for the younger generation. Stress, unhealthy eating habits and lack of personal hygiene contribute in a large measure to the occurrence of eczema. Natural and herbal remedies are often far more useful in treating eczema when compared to the world of modern medicine. A variety of herbs have helped people over the generations in their quest for a clean complexion.

External treatment

Take the juice from any of these – lemon, garlic (clove), evening primrose and nasturtium petals and apply it directly on the affected spot. The application kills the germs, cools the inflammation and leads to improved blood circulation.

Face masks

A compress (soak cotton wool in liquid and place it on the face) can be made from any of the below mentioned elements. To obtain the liquid, crush the plant adding some water if needed. The liquid can remain on the face till it dries after which it can be washed off with cold water.

Horseradish – make a paste of this adding milk instead of water

Marigold flower petals – beneficial in softening and clearing the skin – make a paste of the petals

Aloe – Make a paste by crushing the leaves (water need not be added) - heals the pimples and prevents scars.

Basil – Cures the pimples and extracts puss (just crush the leaves without adding water)

Internal Treatment

Let us now consider some of the internal measures:

Topical applications alone are often inadequate to address skin problems. Toxic contaminants in the blood often promote eczema. Therefore, alongside the topical treatment, it is essential to address this issue internally. Getting the beneficial herbs into the body can be achieved either by drinking a decoction obtained from the herbs or eating them directly as part of your food. Tomato juice (not the hybrid variant) and fresh lemon juice are known to have salutary effect in treating eczema.
